Gavin will be graduating from Concordia University of Wisconsin with a degree in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis on Biomechanics.
In his four years at CUW, Gavin was a dual sport athlete in soccer and track while maintaining grades high enough to receive high honors all four years. While competing for CUW’s soccer team Gavin received first team all-conference, all-state, and all-region honors all four years leading his team to the first two conference championships CUW men’s soccer had seen in 13 years and being ranked as high as 25th in the country.
His freshman year Gavin was named freshman on the year and defensive player of the conference. His last three years Gavin was named top defender in the state of Wisconsin and was named captain of the team. At the end of his final season Gavin topped the record books having scored the greatest amount of defensive points in school history.
In track, Gavin was named freshman of the conference his first year, achieving all-conference honors in the high-jump, long-jump, and javelin throw. Gavin’s main event was the javelin throw as he was conference champion all four years, first in the state all four years, and first in the region all four years.
Gavin’s peak accomplishment in track and field was achieving all-American honors his sophomore and senior years. Ultimately, Gavin was recognized for his accomplishments in both sports and was named male athlete of the year three of the four years he was at CUW.
Aside from his own accomplishments, Gavin has committed countless hours to observing, researching, and learning about how to maximize the body’s athletic potential through manual therapies, corrective exercises, and the science behind it all.
